The four parking situations, and how we teach each
Every manoeuvre is broken into fixed reference points, so you stop guessing and start following a repeatable routine.
Parallel parking
Line up with the front car, reverse to the first reference point, full lock, second point, counter-steer in. Practised until the S-turn feels mechanical.
Reverse (90°) parking
The manoeuvre the RTO checks. Mirror geometry, when to start turning, and how to straighten inside the box without repeated corrections.
Angle parking
Entry angle, clearance judgment on both sides, and the safe exit routine — mirror, signal, creep out with full observation.
Gate & apartment entry
Narrow gates, ramps and basement columns — the parking most Bhubaneswar drivers actually face every day.
Why parking feels hard — and how practice fixes it
Parking is not a steering problem. It is a slow-speed control problem.
Most learners struggle because the car moves faster than their decisions at crawling speed — in a manual car that means clutch control, in an automatic it means gentle brake modulation. Our sessions slow everything down: first the instructor demonstrates the reference points, then you repeat the same manoeuvre in the dual-control car until the sequence runs without thinking. Mirrors are the second fix — once you learn what the kerb and neighbouring cars actually look like in the glass at each stage, the guesswork disappears.
A parking manoeuvre is also part of the practical test pattern at the Bhubaneswar RTO, so this practice directly feeds your test result — see how it fits the full rehearsal on our RTO test practice page. And because every class includes free pickup & drop, drills can happen on quiet streets near your own home — including, where safe, your building’s actual gate and parking area.

Parking practice — frequently asked questions
Do I need a full course just for parking?
No. Licensed drivers who only want parking correction usually take the 7-class ₹1,749 Refresher. Complete beginners get parking built into the Basic and Extended courses.
Is parking part of the RTO test?
Yes — a parking manoeuvre is part of the Bhubaneswar RTO test pattern. We rehearse it in the final sessions; 93% of our students pass first attempt.
Can I practice near my own building?
Often yes. Since pickup starts at your address, sessions can use quiet streets near your home — and, where safe, your building’s actual gate and parking area.
