These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website goldenhandsdrivingschool.co.in and the driving courses delivered by Golden Hands Driving School (“we”, “our”, “us”), operated by Amit Anupam Swain (Proprietor), Block A, Sector A, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar – 751010, Odisha, India.

By booking a class, paying any fee, or using this website, you (“you”, “the student”) agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

To enrol in a driving course with us, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age (the legal minimum age for a learner’s licence for an LMV/car in India).
• Be medically fit to drive a motor vehicle.
• Have, or be in the process of applying for, a valid learner’s licence issued by an RTO in Odisha. We can guide you through this process.
• Provide truthful identity, age, and address information.

2. Courses and what is included

We currently offer three courses:

• Basic Course — ₹3,499 — 20 classes total: 17 practical (30 minutes of on-road driving each) + 3 theory classes covering road signs, RTO test rules, and vehicle basics.
• Extended Course — ₹3,999 — 15 classes total: 10 practical (1 full hour of on-road driving each) + 5 theory classes. Best for learners who want longer driving sessions and a deeper RTO theory grounding.
• Refresher Course — ₹1,749 — 7 practical classes (30 minutes each), designed for already-licensed drivers who want to rebuild their road confidence.

Every course includes:

• Free home pickup and drop across all of Bhubaneswar (see service areas below).
• A dual-control safety car with instructor-side brakes.
• Instruction in Odia, Hindi, or English at your choice.
• Guidance through the Odisha RTO learner’s licence and permanent driving licence process.

If after completing your course you do not feel ready, we offer additional practice classes at no extra charge, at our reasonable discretion.

We provide free home pickup and drop across all of Bhubaneswar, including (but not limited to): Rasulgarh, Bomikhal, Laxmi Sagar, Mancheswar, Cuttack Road, Vivekananda Marg, Saheed Nagar, Master Canteen, Kharavela Nagar, Bapuji Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Units 1–9, Forest Park, Acharya Vihar, Jaydev Vihar, Nayapalli, IRC Village, Chandrasekharpur, Sailashree Vihar, Niladri Vihar, Kanan Vihar, Damana, Patia, KIIT Square, Infocity, Old Town, Lingaraj, Khandagiri, Jagamara, Aiginia, Pokhariput, Sundarpada, Gajapati Nagar, Bhimatangi, Dumduma, Tamando, Baramunda, Aerodrome, Press Chhak, Madhusudan Nagar, Surya Nagar, Bhauma Nagar, Buddha Nagar, GGP Colony, Ravi Talkies, Hanspal, Sisupalgarh, Phulnakhara, and all surrounding areas. 3. Fees and payments

• Course fees are payable in advance, either fully or as per the schedule we agree at booking.
• Fees are inclusive of all charges except RTO government fees, which are payable by you directly to the RTO via the Parivahan portal.
• We accept payment by cash, UPI, and bank transfer at our office. Online payments, when introduced, will be processed by our payment partner.
• Receipts are issued for every payment.

4. Scheduling, attendance, and rescheduling

• Class slots are confirmed by phone or WhatsApp at the time of booking.
• You may reschedule a class with at least 4 hours’ notice without any penalty. Up to 2 free reschedules are permitted per course.
• Classes missed without notice (no-show) are counted as completed and are not refundable or rescheduled.
• We may reschedule a class due to instructor unavailability, vehicle issues, weather, or other reasonable causes; in such cases the class is given without penalty at a mutually agreed time.

5. Conduct during classes

For the safety of you, our instructor, our vehicle, and other road users, you agree to:

• Follow the instructor’s directions at all times.
• Not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs driving.
• Not use a mobile phone while driving except in genuine emergencies and only with the instructor’s permission.
• Treat the instructor and any other students with respect.

We reserve the right, at the instructor’s sole discretion, to pause or end a class if these conditions are not met. No refund is owed for a class ended due to your breach.

6. Liability and indemnity

• Our cars are dual-control and our instructors are RTO-recognised. We take all reasonable precautions for your safety.
• Notwithstanding the above, driving carries inherent risk. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including third-party negligence on the road.
• You agree to indemnify us for any fine, penalty, or damage caused by your wilful misconduct or breach of these Terms during a class.
• We carry valid third-party motor insurance on our training vehicles as required by law.

7. RTO licence assistance

We assist you with the Odisha RTO learner’s licence and permanent driving licence process as a value-added service — see our step-by-step guide. The grant of any licence is at the sole discretion of the RTO. We do not guarantee a pass; however, our students currently enjoy a 93% first-attempt pass rate. Practice on our RTO test routes.

8. Refunds and cancellation

Please see our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details. In short: full refund within 7 days of registration if no class has been taken; pro-rated refund thereafter, less reasonable pickup costs. Common questions are also answered on our FAQ page.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, photographs, logos, course material — is the property of Golden Hands Driving School and may not be reproduced or republished without our written permission.

10. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date in the hero reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our services after a revision is taken as acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our courses shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
